You’ve got to love Russell Brown from Adobe. Not only does he create extremely useful actions, scripts, and panels, but he also he gives them away for free. Wow! Today, we’re going to take a peek at his remarkable Adobe Watermark Panel extension. Never before has adding a customized watermark been so simple and so enjoyable.
To get started, close Photoshop, then download the Adobe Watermark Panel from Russell’s site. Following the download, use Adobe Extension Manager CS5 to install the panel. If you’re using Mac OSX Lion, you may need to install a patch which fixes an installation bug. Click the link associated with the Workbench text to get the patch. Windows users may need to run the Adobe Extension Manager as an Administrator. To do so, right-click on the Adobe Extension Manager program icon and choose “Run as administrator.” After installation, reopen Photoshop and join me as we explore this wondrous panel.
