It seems to me that the last two work benches were done out of sequence and it would make more sense to do the chromatic abberation correction before running the Photomatrix program? If not can you explain why? Thanks Mark!

    Hi Mark, two great workbenches.

One comment on Chromatic Abberation and HDR post processing – After processing through photomatix pro , I tend to do the finalization work with Adobe Lightroom. Using the virtual copy feature, you can also play with the color saturation, contast etc.

I realize that if you need to remove features or run into issue as you did in these workbenches, you probably have to resort to PS to make final adjustments.

If not, I find Lightroom to be a good after toning tool to finalize the image.

    Really love your work.

I have a D5000, which can shoot short, HD movies. It has been suggested that this is a good way of taking action ‘stills’ – shoot the movie, then select the best frame and process it as a still. Is this a better technique than burst mode?

    Hi Mark
I attended two of your workshops at BDA and I’ve been following your website. It’s very impressive. I like its simplicity. Great information and instruction. I submitted an image to the workbench. How does that work? I can’t find the image on the site. I hope to upgrade to CS4 soon and will be taking your workshops. I’m waiting to upgrade my computer first. Thanks for the site. Hope to hear from you soon. Virginia
